Terms of use

1. What the service does

You upload files or connect sources, describe the decision a model should make, review the dataset our agent builds, and we train a small model on it. You download the model and run it wherever you want. We compare it with Jev, a third-party reference model, on data held out from training.

2. Your account

• Give us accurate information and keep your credentials safe. You answer for what happens in your account and in organizations you manage.
• You must be at least 18 years old and able to sign contracts.

3. Credits and payment

• One credit trains one model (one version of a dataset). Credits are sold in packs, priced in US dollars and paid through Stripe. Your bank may add taxes or exchange fees.
• The credit is spent when training starts. Credits do not expire.
• Promotions, such as the launch discount (coupon LAUNCH50), apply to purchases made in the period shown on the pricing page.
• You may cancel a purchase within 7 days and get your money back for the credits of that purchase you have not used. Spent credits are only returned under the guarantee below.

4. The guarantee

• If your model does not beat Jev on the holdout (the examples you labeled, or a stratified 20% of your data, up to 2,000 examples, never used in training), the credit goes back to your balance automatically.
• If training fails on our side, the credit also goes back automatically.
• The comparison follows the refund calculation published in our docs. Every model comes with an audit file anyone can check with our open verifier.
• The guarantee returns the credit, not money. It does not apply to multi-task plans, which are measured against the base model instead of Jev.

5. Your data and your models

• Your data stays yours. You give us only the license needed to run the service for you: store, anonymize, structure, train and evaluate.
• The model trained for you is yours. You may use it commercially, without paying us anything per use.
• We do not use your data or your models to train models for anyone else, including our own.
• You declare you have the right and the legal basis to use the data you upload, including personal data of your customers. For that data you are the controller and we act as processor, following your instructions and our privacy policy.

6. Acceptable use

• No unlawful content, and no data you are not allowed to share.
• No sensitive personal data (health, biometrics, religion, political opinion and the like) unless you have a legal basis and tell us first.
• No attempts to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, or to reach other customers' data.
• If you use a model to make decisions about people, you are responsible for reviewing them when the law requires it (for example, LGPD article 20).

7. Third-party components

Base encoders and public datasets we offer come with their own licenses, and we only offer ones that allow commercial use. The model card of each model lists them.

8. No warranties beyond these terms

Models are statistical: they make mistakes, even when they beat Jev. Apart from the guarantee above, the service is provided as is, and you are responsible for the decisions you make with it. We work to keep it available but do not promise uninterrupted service.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights the consumer law gives you.

10. Ending the relationship

You can delete datasets and your account at any time; a closed account is deleted 30 days after you ask, and you can cancel until then. Download a model within 30 days of its training: after that its files are deleted (section 6 of the privacy policy). We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Models you already downloaded remain yours.

11. Changes and law

We will tell you by email before material changes take effect. These terms follow Brazilian law; consumers may go to the courts of their own domicile.
